Individual Therapy

Therapy for Adolescents

I provide both individual and family therapy for teens. Adolescent therapy can be beneficial for various concerns, including emotional difficulties, academic stress, family conflicts, peer relationships, identity development, and mental health issues.

Family therapy is a collaborative process that involves active participation from all family members. My role is to guide families, helping the family explore and address issues in a constructive and supportive manner.

Initially, I may meet with individual family members to understand their perspectives and experiences. Together we will collaboratively identify specific goals for therapy. Goals may include improving communication, resolving conflicts, or addressing specific family issues.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
