Who am I?

Hello! My name is Alison. I am a registered social worker (with the Alberta College of Social Work), with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. I am an experienced therapist, with over 20 years of clinical experience providing mental health services to adults, adolescents, and families with complex mental health needs.

I have had the privilege of providing therapy to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including in-patient psychiatry, community mental health and addictions clinics, educational institutions, and law enforcement agencies.

I am passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating the complexities of life, promoting resilience, and facilitating a journey towards meaningful and lasting change. Ultimately, as a counsellor, my goal is to be a supportive ally on your path to self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. I am here to accompany you on your journey, providing guidance and encouragement as you work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

On a personal note, I have lived in Cochrane for over 25 years along with my husband. I was blessed to grow up in Canmore, where I developed a love for the outdoors. In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dogs, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and kayaking.
